Well, baby has certainly been growing since the last update I posted. Things are still going very well though, and I couldn't be happier that the weather is now a bit nicer, too.

How far along? 18 weeks.

Total weight gain? 6-8 lbs total depending on the day.

Maternity clothes? Yes, pants. Thankfully summer has arrived and my dress wardrobe still fits!

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? Great lately!

Best moment this week? Feeling the baby start to wiggle :)

Miss anything? Nah, nothing really.

Movement? A little here and there!

Food cravings? I've been really enjoying some lemonade lately.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No.

Gender prediction? Totally think it's a boy now. Had my first dream where I could tell the sex, and it was a boy. Before that I didn't have any dreams either way.

Labor signs? No.

Symptoms? Small headaches here and there.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy.

Looking forward to? Finding out the babe's sex in two weeks!

Hope everyone is having a great week. I can't believe May is already half over!

This year is flying by so fast.

The past two weeks have been going pretty well. We've been laying low for the most part. This weekend I went on a trip back to Michigan to spend some time with the family. We also had a nice girls day of pampering and shopping on Saturday!

How far along? 16 weeks.

Total weight gain? 5 lbs total.

Maternity clothes? Yes, pants. 

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? For the most part good, but still having a middle of the night potty break. 

Best moment this week? Time with the family in Michigan.

Miss anything? Nah, nothing really.

Movement? Hopefully soon!

Food cravings? Beverages other than water. I've really been enjoying lemonade lately!

Our appointment Tuesday will be a quick one, but only one more month until we find out the gender! Keep those predictions coming, I love to hear what everyone thinks.

Here I am on the megabus headed back to Michigan for what is surely to be an enjoyable weekend with the original four: mom, dad, sister, me - perfect. I'm taking this time to get caught up on some much needed blogging, and will start reading Outliers for our next book club meeting. I sure am happy that this bus has about 10 people on it, and I have a row to myself!

Last week I officially was in the second trimester - 14 weeks cooked! The biggest change? My long lost appetite was back in full force. I couldn't be happier :)

One night I had a craving for a milkshake, and to the kitchen I went. Vanilla ice cream and milk is a good place to start, but what did I want in my shake? I wasn't quite sure. Nutella and banana sound good to you? It surely sounded delicious to me!

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp Nutella
1 banana
milk to the consistency you like






put all ingredients in blender
mix until smooth
